Summer Meals That Matter Match Gift

Each summer, children lose access to school meals and many families have to stretch their budgets to cover higher energy and childcare costs. Our gifts ensure local children and families have consistent access to healthy food throughout the summer months. Hunger doesn’t take a summer vacation, which is why we sponsor Central Texas Food Bank’s Summer Meals That Matter campaign.

Our law firm was very proud to do an annual $25,000 Match Gift to the Central Texas Food Bank from 2016 to 2018.. Each summer, we matched any donation to the Food Bank on a 3:1 basis for one week (i.e. a participant donates $10 and we matched it with $30). Through this Match Gift, we donated over $100,000 and helped raise an additional $200,000 to the Food Bank.  This translates into over 878,000 lbs of food!!!
