News: Driver seriously injured in collision with CapitalMetro train

AUSTIN, TX – One person was seriously injured after a CapitalMetro train and a vehicle collided in north Austin this morning, according to KXAN. The accident occurred in the 3100 block of W Parmer Lane, near the Mopac Expressway, at about 11 a.m., when a dark-colored SUV and a train collided. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with injuries that are thought to be serious and possibly life-threatening. Passengers on the Capital Metro train were not reported as injured.
