News: Elderly woman suffers critical injuries after south Austin house fire

AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital with critical injuries following a house fire in south Austin this weekend, according to ABC 7 Amarillo. The fire occurred on Richmond Avenue at about 10 p.m. Saturday. A male neighbor witnessed the fire from his home and heard the elderly female victim screaming for assistance from inside. He then helped pull her from the burning structure. News: Man injured after collision with suspected drunk driver on Dessau Rd

AUSTIN, TX – A man was possibly injured during a collision with a suspected drunk driver on Dessau Road last week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT). The accident occurred in the 11300 block of Dessau Rd at 12:24 a.m. Thursday, when the driver of a gray 2010 Land Rover, a 35-year-old man, reportedly failed to yield the right of way.
