Motorcyclist Involved in Austin Accident
AUSTIN, TX – A man was killed in an accident involving his motorcycle and another vehicle last week. The man driving the motorcycle has only been identified as being in his 20s. The crash that took the man’s life occurred at the intersection of Klattenhoff Drive and Wells Port Drive just before 11 a.m. last Sunday.
Although reports of the incident are not very detailed, the accident does serve as a reminder to everyone to be careful on the roads.
Winter weather has yet to hit much of the country, meaning that people are out enjoying the sunshine and warmth. This includes people on motorcycles.
As you drive down the road, be mindful of any motorcycles that may be nearby. Keep your radio turned down to a level that allows you to hear what is happening outside of your vehicle. Always come to a full stop at intersections and look both ways before you press the accelerator.
Motorcycle drivers must also be responsible on the road. Always wear the proper safety gear, pass only when it is safe, and keep in mind that drivers may not be aware of your presence. It is only when every driver on the road is mindful that people make it to their destinations safely.
