News: 1 critically hurt, 7 dead in Comal Co. head-on crash
NEW BRAUNFELS, TX – A head-on crash killed seven people near New Braunfels Saturday night.
First responders arrived at the 3100 block of FM 272 around 6:15 p.m., according to CBS Austin. For reasons unknown, a driver of a Ford F-150 was heading west and crossed over into the eastbound lanes.
As a result, the driver of the Ford collided head-on with a Chrysler Aspen.
The driver of the Chrysler, two adult passengers, and two minors were all pronounced dead at the scene, and another juvenile passenger was taken to a hospital for critical injuries.
The driver of the Ford and the passenger also succumbed to fatal injuries.
