News: 1 dead following multi-vehicle crash on Mopac Sunday
AUSTIN, TX – One person died on Sunday night following a multi-vehicle crash on Mopac southbound between Windsor and Enfield Roads, ATCEMS reports.
FINAL 1700 N MOPAC EXPY SB (x-street Enfield ramp): #ATCEMSMedics have obtained a Deceased On Scene pronouncement after extensive resuscitative efforts. Expect extended closures for @Austin_Police investigation. EMS will be leaving scene shortly. No further info is available.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene at 1700 N Mopac southbound shortly before 8 p.m., and began performing CPR on one patient. Despite their efforts, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene by 8:46 p.m.
Multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, and two ambulances were called to the scene. However, it is unclear whether anyone else was injured.
