News: 2 injured at downtown Austin construction site

AUSTIN, TX – Two people were taken to the hospital earlier this month after they were injured at a downtown construction site, the Austin American-Statesman reports.

Emergency responders were called to East 17th and Brazos Streets shortly before 3 p.m. on January 13, 2021. Two workers had been working on the 12th floor of the project when they fell about a dozen feet. They were taken to Dell Seton Medical Center for treatment.

The Statesman did not mention the nature of their injuries or their current conditions.
