News: Firefighter injured, 12 displaced after fourplex fire

AUSTIN, TX – A firefighter was injured while battling a fire at a fourplex home on Creekside Drive on Sunday afternoon, according to the Austin Fire Department.

The fire broke out at a two-story fourplex home at 7202 Creekside Drive, north of Highway 290, at around 4:30 p.m., and appears to have been cooking-related.

A firefighter suffered a minor injury during the blaze.

All four units were evacuated as a result of the fire. Six adults and six children were displaced due to the incident, which caused around $250,000 in structural damage and $75,000 in damage to the contents.
