News: Man, 26, dead after crashing into semi-truck in Taylor

TAYLOR, TX – A 26-year-old man’s life was claimed after his black GMC pickup truck struck a semi-truck in Taylor Wednesday. 

According to KXAN, the collision occurred before 6:30 am at the 10300 block of Chandler Road, along County Road 101. 

The pickup truck driver did not stop at the stop sign and collided with a semi-truck. As a result, fuel spilled out of the semi-truck. 

It is unclear if the driver of the semi-truck was injured. However, Mario David Salinas Rodriguez, the pickup truck driver, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
