News: Pedestrian injured after being hit by car on Balcones Dr
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was injured when he was hit by a driver on Balcones Drive on Thursday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The crash occurred in the 5300 block of Balcones Dr, west of the Mopac Expressway, at 9:20 a.m., when a black 2012 Acura collided with a pedestrian identified as a 62-year-old man.
The pedestrian suffered minor injuries in the crash.
The driver, a 28-year-old man, was not hurt.
The cause of the crash was not immediately released.
