AUSTIN, TX – One person was hospitalized after a crash between a bicycle and a vehicle in the Great Hills area this afternoon, according to information from Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the North Austin area in the 7200 block of Yaupon Drive at 1:39 p.m., when a bicyclist was struck by a driver.

An adult victim was declared a trauma alert, then taken to St. David’s Round Rock to receive treatment for critical, life-threatening injuries.
