News: Swimmer seriously injured by boat propeller a day after similar accident in Lake Travis
AUSTIN, TX – A person was severely injured after being struck by a boat propeller in Lake Travis on Independence Day, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident occurred only a day after another person was similarly hit by a boat propeller in Devil’s Cove.
This incident happened near 5973 Hiline Road at 5:10 p.m.
The victim, who was not immediately identified, was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center to receive treatment for severe injuries.
Authorities reminded swimmers to pay attention to and keep away from boats to avoid injuries.
