News: Train vs. pedestrian crash claims life of one person in Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian died after getting hit by a CapMetro Train around 2:40 pm Wednesday.
The crash happened in the northbound lane of 9000 Research Blvd, KVUE reported.
No further details about Wednesday’s crash are available at this time. However, what is known is that the pedestrian was in the train’s right of way and died at the scene.
The Austin Police Department is investigating the case.
