AUSTIN, TX – A deadly car crash in April took the lives of two young children. The family of the siblings has filed suit against the bar, Cover 2, that allegedly sold the driver of the other vehicle alcohol. According to the lawsuit, the Cover 2 patron continued to consume alcohol until he was drunk. Bar employees then allowed John Alvarado, the alleged intoxicated driver in the collision, to leave the bar. As the city prepared for potential flash flooding, drivers were urged to stay off of the roads during heavy rain. However, last night at 1:30 AM a Capital Metro bus crash. The bus was driving on West Riverside crashed in a guardrail and injured three people. Austin-Travis County EMS took all three people to the hospital. A report by KXAN says Valencia Lock was riding in a car on I-35 near the St. Johns exit shortly before 3 a.m. on July 5 when her vehicle was struck from behind, and the other driver sped off.
