Adam Loewy’s charity contributions profiled on KXAN

Loewy Law Firm owner Adam Loewy was profiled on KXAN about how LiveStrong is bouncing back one year after revelations from the group’s founder Lance Armstrong hurt the group’s ability to raise money.

KXAN profiled Adam Loewy’s recent contribution to the LiveStrong President’s Circle, whereby donors commit $25,000 to the group’s general fund.  Adam is a strong believer in LiveStrong because the group has such a positive impact on people dealing with the terrible effects of cancer.  LiveStrong helps cancer patients and their families navigate this terrifying new world of living with cancer and do so with compassion, integrity and sound advice.

Part of Adam’s motivation for getting involved with LiveStrong was observing his grandmother, Rose Pressman, deal with the effects of skin cancer, which eventually killed her.  As Adam noted on the KXAN piece, his grandmother was extremely lonely as she battled cancer and an organization like LiveStrong – which provides such incredible emotional support for cancer patients – would have been a godsend to her.  Adam hopes his law firm’s contribution can in part help others going through what his grandmother went through.

The Loewy Law Firm is very proud to support LiveStrong and encourages everyone to do so.
